If you’re looking for a day on the river, there’s a launch site for boats, kayaks, and canoes just a mile from the community on Old Federal Road. Want something with a little slower pace? try fishing! The Etowah River is home to 75 native fish species meaning there’s a challenge for every angler. Depending on the area of the river you choose to fish, you’ll find varying species and tactics for catching them. So get some friends together, pack a cooler, and head out for a day trip on the river – you’re sure to create some great memories.
A Relaxing Day at Home
After a long week of action-packed days, you can look forward to a relaxing weekend at home here in River Rock. Enjoy a yard of your own, where you can tend to your garden, play on the swingset with the kiddos, or just soak up some Vitamin D with a good book in hand.
