How Does It Work
Your Clean Comfort AM Series Media Air Cleaner traps household dust, lint, allergens, and other airborne particles from the air throughout your home. It works by using a special air filter cartridge that carries a static charge, removing them from the air you breathe the same way static cling attracts dirt and dust to clothes and similar materials. These deep-plated media filters have more surface area than standard furnace filters, allowing them to capture more particles with fewer airflow restrictions. This means more longevity and less stress for your heating and cooling system. Particles trapped in the air filter are then permanently removed from your home when it is replaced with a new one.
Maintenance of your new Clean Comfort air filtration system is is actually easier than traditional return air systems in homes. Compared to standard furnace filters, these long-life, high-capacity filters can last up to one year before they need to be replaced. Monthly trips to the attic are no longer needed!
