From exciting community grand openings to meaningful partnerships and major milestones, 2025 reminded us why we do what we do—building quality homes, strengthening communities, and continuing to Come Home to Excellence together.
Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made 2025 such a memorable year for Kerley Family Homes.
January
We kicked off the year with an incredible honor: winning 2nd place for Best of Cobb 2025.
Starting the year with recognition like this set the tone for everything that followed, and we’re deeply grateful to our homeowners, partners, and community for their continued support.
February
February marked a major milestone as we proudly celebrated 18 years of excellence. Nearly two decades of building homes and lasting relationships is something we don’t take lightly, and we’re thankful for everyone who has been part of our journey.
March
Community and connection took center stage with our first-ever Foundation Friday, featuring Theresa Garcia from Movement Mortgage. This series sparked meaningful conversations and partnerships centered on education, collaboration, and support.
April
April was a season of growth as we celebrated the grand openings of:

May
May was packed with energy and momentum, including:
- A special Twilight Open House at The Estates at Hurricane Pointe
- Our first Foundation Friday Design Video with Kathryn Cannon, VP of Design
- The Grand Opening of The View at Groover’s Lake
- An Agent Mix & Mingle at 1885 Grill in Acworth
Each event brought us closer to our partners, agents, and future homeowners.
June
Summer arrived with even more excitement as we celebrated the Grand Openings of Meadow Pines and Maple Village. Two incredible communities, officially open and ready to welcome homeowners.
July
July brought personality, heart, and recognition:
- Two of our agents volunteered at Floyd Middle School for a cleanup project
- Our builders showed off their dance skills
- We were nominated for three OBIE Awards, a true testament to the talent and dedication of our team
August
August was a milestone moment as we proudly closed our 4,000th home, celebrating with a special promotion. Giving back also remained a priority with our Back to School Giveaway at Village Green, helping local families prepare for the year ahead.
September
We strengthened industry partnerships with an Agent Caravan, proudly partnering with Jill from Ameris Bank. These relationships continue to play a vital role in helping buyers find the right home.
October
October featured a special VIP Agent Open House at Springside Reserve, giving our partners an exclusive look at one of our (many) standout communities.
November
November was a month of gratitude and celebration:
- We proudly won three OBIE Awards
- Partnered with Toys for Tots to support families during the holiday season
- Launched our beloved Red Bow Event, helping more buyers come home for the holidays
December
We closed out the year with joy, tradition, and festive fun:
- 12 Days of Kerley Christmas
- Closed out Palmer Falls
- Shared Cookies with Santa at the Design Studio

Looking Ahead to 2026
As we step into a new year, we’re carrying forward the momentum, lessons, and gratitude from 2025. In fact, we’re excited to share that we’ve already been nominated for Best of Cobb 2026!
