Locking in a home with us is a little like winding back the clock, you could secure an interest rate that’s as good as the ones that homebuyers were seeing months ago. A lower interest rate will save you money on your monthly payments, adding up to a smart bundle of equity later on down the line when it’s time for your family’s next chapter to start.

How it Works

If you’re flexible with your finance needs, you may find that combining an ARM product (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) with a builder’s rate buy down creates a significant savings – not only on monthly payments, but also over the entire lifetime of your loan.

The typical family stays in their new home for 4-7 years, depending on circumstances. A 5/1 ARM that comes with a locked-in interest rate for the first 5 years offers extended consistency while helping to keep your payments and overall interest-paid much lower than a traditional 30-year mortgage. Even when your rate begins to adjust, your rate can only go up by a set amount once per year after year 5, and there’s a lifetime cap as well.
