Meet the Employees

Joe Kerley

Joe was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  He came to Atlanta in 1999 to fulfill his dream of building homes with his father.  In 2007 Joe and his father started Kerley Family Homes.  He has a beautiful wife, Erin and has 2 children, Madeline and Dylan.     On the weekends he enjoys spending time with his family and his 3 dogs.

Gene Kerley

Gene started building homes in 1974 as an apprentice carpenter in St. Louis, Missouri.  He moved to Atlanta in 1999 to create a new division for McBride and Son Homes.  After working for them for 30 years he and son, Joe, started Kerley Family Homes in 2007.  Gene and his lovely wife Allison have 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs, Beau and Molly.  On the weekends Gene enjoys hunting and spending time at his lake-house

Cheryl Axley

Cheryl is a Native of Panama City Beach and has lived in Georgia for nearly 20 years.  She has been involved in the Home Building Business for 6 plus years.  She actively oversees may of the Home Building processes and is actively involved in the day to day operations of Kerley Family Homes.

Jaclyn Smith

Jaclyn is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to our homeowners.  She grew up in Marietta and just relocated back to the area from Charleston, South Carolina.  She is a Georgia Southern University graduate with a background in Social Work.  She enjoys spending time with friends and her Miniature Schlabrador, Buster Brown.

Scottie Bryan

Scottie was born and raised in Woodstock, Georgia. He has been building homes for 15 years and has been with Kerley Family Homes for over 2 years.  On the weekends, he enjoys reading, dancing, spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle.

Chad Slayton

Chad Slayton is a member of the Kerley Family Homes as a Building Superintendent. After starting his career in Tennessee, he moved to Georgia fifteen years ago and has been in the field management of residential construction projects since. He is married with two children ages 6 and 2

Fran Torchia

Fran was born and raised in Long Island, New York and moved to Georgia in 1992.  She has been a New Home Specialist for over 17 years and an Associate Broker for over 10 years.  Fran is dedicated making your home buying experience as effortless as possible.  Fran likes to cook and spend time with her husband, Dominic and her grandchildren.

Priscilla Cox

A few years ago I decided to acquire my real estate license as only a personal challenge. One weekend I was asked to fill in for an on-site sales agent, and I instantly experienced what a privilege it is to help someone build and own their new home! My career as a senior executive assistant and office manager in the marketing departments of 2 world brand companies has taught me the importance of quality, clarity, and image. Originally from St. Louis, MO I've been living in Atlanta, GA for 7 years. As an empty nester, I am the proud mom of 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

David Hape

David has done a little bit of everything, including starting a business designing dental offices and also had his own real estate office in Texas.  He is licensed in both Florida and Georgia and has experience in general real estate, onsite sales, sales management and training.

Patti Kviesis

Patti is a native of the Northeast and has been in New Home Sales in the Atlanta Metro Area for over 15 years.  Patti’s goal is to provide a wonderful home buying experience to each new home buyer and to help them every step of the way.  Patti enjoys spending her free time with her family and grandchildren, Stephen and Victoria.

Liz Primm

Liz has been a part of Kerley Family Homes since April 2011.  She enjoys her position as a sales assistant because she is a people person and loves to help people build the home of their dreams.  After a hard days work, Liz resigns in Acworth, where she enjoys family time with her husband, Luke and son, Mack. 

Judy Bauer

Judy moved to Georgia fourteen years ago from Knoxville, Tn.   She has a son and daughter that both reside here and two darling granddaughters. She began selling homes a few years ago and really enjoys it.   Most of Judy’s background has been in some form of retail.   She also worked for a design firm for a couple years which is an asset for her in selling Kerley Family homes.
